biscuits and gravy casserole

Ingredients biscuits and gravy casserole


1 can biscuits
1 lb breakfast sausage
2 cups shredded cheese
6 eggs
2 1/2 cups gravy
2 1/2 cup milk
to taste Salt & pepper

how to make biscuits and gravy casserole


Cut the biscuits into small pieces


Whisk together 6 eggs, add 1/2 cup milk, add salt & pepper


Brown sausage


To make gravy, melt 1/4 Tbs butter, add 4 Tbs flour. Whisk together to make a rue, add salt and pepper. Cook until rue is light brown. Add 2 cups milk. Cook until gravy is desired consistency.


Grease a 9 x 12 casserole pan


Place the uncooked biscuits in the bottom of the caaserole pan


Layer cooked sausage on biscuits


Layer 1 cup shredded cheese


Pour eggs in casserole pan


Pour gravy in casserole pan


Layer 1 cup shredded cheese


Cook in 350° oven for 45 minutes
