brown sugar prune cake

Ingredients brown sugar prune cake


2 eggs
1 stick margarine
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup pitted prunes (about 8 large ones)
1 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2/3 cup buttermilk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cloves
1 packages nuts (walnuts & pecans)

how to make brown sugar prune cake


Cream margarine with sugar. Then add eggs and chopped prunes.


Mix flour with the rest of the dry ingredients and spices.


Add in buttermilk. Stir until mixed well. Then add chopped nuts.


Put in 8 x 8 greased baking pan. Bake 45 minutes in 350°F oven. Or until tester comes out clean. Cool.
