Ingredients fish pie salmon and tuna
Filling
8 fillets salmon (skinless)
1 can Tuna (optional)
Peas
1 stalk Celery
1/2 Onion - chopped
3 clove Garlic
250 ml White sauce
1 Sweet pepper
Seasoning of choice
Topping
5 large Potatoes - boiled
Seasoning of choice
1 tbsp Milk
1 tbsp Butter (melted )
how to make fish pie salmon and tuna
For the filling:
Start by removing the skin of the salmon fillets and flake the salmon and set aside.
Prepare the White sauce.
Slice the onion, garlic and celery and place in a bowl.
Add in the peas and the white sauce and mix until well combined
Add the salmon and tuna (if used) and mix
Place the filling into a large rectangular tin and press down evenly
For the topping:
Mash the boiled potatoes
Add in the milk and butter and the seasoning
Mix well until well combined and creamy
Spread the potato mash all over the top
Grate some cheese and spread over the top
Place into a preheated oven to 200C degrees for about 30-35 mins or until the top is lightly browned.
Meanwhile it's cooking... Prepare your favourite salad
