Ingredients marinara sauce
2 (28 oz) cans tomato sauce (I use dei fratelli)
1 (14.5 oz) can petite diced tomatoes (I use dei fratelli)
1 tsp oregano
3 tbsp chopped onion
3 tbsp chopped garlic
1/2 cup olive oil extra virgin (I use colavita)
2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
dash salt
dash black pepper
how to make marinara sauce
Add 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil to a pan and saute the onion and garlic on low to medium heat
Add all other ingredients into a pot then add the sautéed onion and garlic to it and cook on low for 3-4 hours until the sauce thickens
