Ingredients sesame ginger beef and veggie stir fry
3 tbsp less- sodium soy sauce (divided)
2 tbsp cornstarch (divided)
2 tsp dark sesame oil (divided)
1 lb flank steak (trimmed and thinly sliced)
1/3 cup chicken broth
1/4 tsp crushed red peppers flakes
3 tbsp canola oil (divided)
3 peeled minced gingerroot
2 clove garlic minced
1 red bell pepper thinly sliced
2 cup broccoli florets
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
4 cup rice
how to make sesame ginger beef and veggie stir fry
combine 1 tablespoon of the soy sauce,1 tablespoon of the cornstarch,1 tablespoon of the sesame oil in medium bowl, stir to mix well. add beef stir to coat. set aside.
combine remaining 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, remaining 1 tablespoon cornstarch, remaining 1 teaspoon sesame oil, chicken broth and red pepper flakes in small bowl, stay rental cornstarch dissolves. set aside
heat two teaspoons of the canola oil in large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. add beef; stir fry 2-3 minutes until lightly browned. remove to plate; wipe out wok with paper towels
heat remaining 1 teaspoon canola oil in wok over medium high heat. add ginger and garlic; stir fry 1 minute or untel fragrant. at bell peppers, broccoli, and onions; stir fry 3 minutes or until crisp and tender. stir in broth mixture and beef; cook until sauce is thickened, 30 seconds
remove from heat
stir in cilantro
serve immediatly with rice
