Ingredients chocolate sponge cake
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
100 g butter
1 tsp chocolate powder
1 tsp baking powder
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
how to make chocolate sponge cake
Mix flour with baking powder in a bowl.
Beat up the eggs with a beater in another bowl.
To the eggs beaten gradually add sugar and butter.
Now add to the mixture the flour with baking powder.Keep on beating till the mixture smoothens.
Add chocolate powder and essence to the mix. Now pour the mixture in to a greased tin container.
Pre heat the cake oven at moderate heat.
Place the cake tin inside the oven and bake the cake hot at 150C for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven thereafter and allow it to cool at room temperature.
Reverse the tin over a plate and pat lightly to drop the cake.
